Aleyson Bickley

Chief Executive Officer

Aleyson Bickley is a seasoned federal acquisition professional and former DHS Contracting Officer with extensive experience leading high-impact research and development initiatives across the Department of Homeland Security. As Founder and CEO of Bickley Group LLC, she brings deep expertise in federal procurement strategy and small business engagement to help clients successfully navigate and compete in the government marketplace.

At DHS, Aleyson managed the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program and supported the Long Range Broad Agency Announcement (LRBAA) initiative, advancing mission innovation through strategic industry partnerships. Her portfolio included complex R&D and technology-driven contracts, spanning the full acquisition lifecycle from planning and strategy development to award execution and performance oversight.

Before joining DHS, Aleyson supported the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) within the Department of the Navy, where she contributed to major defense acquisition programs focused on naval combat systems integration and modernization.

Drawing on experience across both government and industry, Aleyson has built a reputation for translating complex federal processes into practical, results-driven strategies. At Bickley Group, she leads with a mission-focused approach, empowering small businesses with the insight, structure, and strategy needed to thrive in the federal marketplace.

Lance Bickley

President

Lance Bickley is a national security executive and U.S. Marine with over two decades of leadership experience in defense strategy, operations, and interagency integration. He currently serves in a senior advisory capacity within the Department of Homeland Security, supporting coordination efforts with the Department of Defense and other federal partners. In his separate and advisory-only role as President of Bickley Group LLC, Lance provides strategic insight and guidance on organizational development and enterprise strategy.

Throughout his career, Lance has held key leadership positions within the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense, advising on national security investments, interagency coordination, and long-term strategic planning. His work has focused on building alignment across federal organizations to advance national priorities and mission effectiveness.

A Colonel (Select) in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, Lance has commanded and advised units in Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Indo-Pacific, bridging the gap between operational realities and strategic policymaking.
