Aleyson Bickley is a seasoned federal acquisition professional and former DHS Contracting Officer with extensive experience leading high-impact research and development initiatives across the Department of Homeland Security. As Founder of Bickley Group LLC, she brings deep expertise in federal procurement strategy and small business engagement to help clients successfully navigate and compete in the government marketplace.
At DHS, Aleyson managed the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program’s Phase I and II contracts and supported the Long Range Broad Agency Announcement (LRBAA) initiative, advancing mission innovation through strategic industry partnerships. Her portfolio included complex R&D and technology-driven contracts, spanning the full acquisition lifecycle from planning and strategy development to award execution and performance oversight.
Before joining DHS, Aleyson supported the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) within the Department of the Navy, where she contributed to major defense acquisition programs focused on naval combat systems integration and modernization.
